ISO's public abstract states that ISO 10074:2021 specifies requirements for hard anodic oxidation coatings on aluminium and its alloys, including test methods.
ISO also states that the document specifies information to be supplied by the customer to the anodizer, referenced in Annex A.
The public scope explicitly excludes coatings produced by processes such as plasma electrolytic oxidation, micro-arc oxidation, plasma-chemical anodic oxidation, anodic spark deposition and spark anodizing.
